I love to meditate. It is one of my favorite things to do. But, when I first began meditating, it was HARD. Thoughts popped up demanding my attention, my to-do-list would grow, and I would feel stuff—emotions that weren’t always pleasant.
Maybe you can relate?
You want a consistent meditation practice. You want to look forward to “sitting on your cushion.” You want to find sacred bliss. But, life gets in the way.
One of the most effective spiritual practices I’ve committed to is keeping a meditation journal. Over the years, it’s become a treasure map from my Soul to me.
You see, Souls speak in the languages of emotions, sensations, and imagery. They often use these languages during meditation to give messages and information.
Your Soul gently communicates with you. Those subtle nudges show up in a variety of ways.
- Maybe a tingly feeling in your body like champagne bubbles on the inside.
I’m going to be upfront with you. I believe meditation is a big piece of spiritual life. I haven’t found a better practice to release my pesky, troubling thoughts so that I can feel my natural state of peace.
But I get it. I live in the real world too. I understand you don’t always have time to meditate. When you do make time, it can be hard to quiet your thoughts.
