November Sweet Spot Tip

The November Sweet Spot Tip is… Let it be easy.  What do I mean?  I mean everything.  Let it be easy.

Your morning routine to get you and everyone else out the door on time.

Let it be easy.

The busy schedule of preparing for Thanksgiving.

Let it be easy.

The pressure of helping your child select the right college for next year.

Let it be easy.

The stress of training a new employee at work.

Let it be easy.

The sales pitch that could get you the big new account you have been wanting.

Let it be easy.

The move to the new house.

Let it be easy.

Taking care of an aging parent.

Let it be easy.

Deciding if your current relationship is the right one for you.

Let it be easy.

The fall out you had with a friend.

Let it be easy.

The conversation with your daughter about the birds and the bees.

Let it be easy.

I think most of us have been taught that life is hard.  We must put our nose to the grindstone and push through to the end.  Hard work and struggle are rewarded.  Ease and fluidity are frowned upon by our culture.

I am not so sure of this paradigm anymore.  I am coming to believe that when we lower our head and push through we miss all the wonderful goodness and grace that is wanting to help us make it easy.  The worry, the stress, the endless complaining don’t help.  Relaxing, relishing, enjoying do.  Life is suppose to feel good.  It is suppose to feel invigorating, enlivening and joyful.  Even the “hard” stuff can be made easier, if we let it.

Where in your life could it be easier?

Where would it feel better to relax?

Where could you let go of controlling the situation?

Where could you stop doing something that is unpleasant?

Where could you appreciate instead of complain?

As you look at your day, your family, your job, your life, remember: Let It Be Easy.

Relax into ease and let the flow of well being wrap its arms around you as you let go.  Allow it to be easier than you have been making it.

LET IT BE EASY.
