Seed of Joy

Long ago before you were born, a seed was planted in you.

Your only responsibility is to nurture that little seed.

The seed responds best to love. Your love. Your loving attention, understanding, and care.

When you feel good it means the seed is growing. Your feeling of well-being is the indicator that your seed is sprouting roots, and growing strong and resilient.

As your seed grows and blossoms,

Want to Feel Really Alive? Do this Despite your Fear.

Brene Brown has made a living by encouraging folks to allow themselves to feel vulnerable and do the thing anyway—write the book, give the PTA speech, stick up for yourself at dinner club. She says that what we see as courage on the outside often feels like vulnerability on the inside.

What I’ve noticed about vulnerability is that I feel most vulnerable when I’m unsure of the outcome. When there is no guarantee that the speech will be a success or the dinner date will end in romance.

Your Work

“How” is not your work.

Your work is to define what you want. To imagine it into being. To dream.

Your work is to feel good.

Your work is to follow the bread crumbs of passion, excitement, fun, interest, curiosity, and wonder.

Your work is to trust that you are not meant to create alone. Your work is to believe that the Universe is delivering your wishes to you even before you can see them.

How to Create the Reality You Want by Paying Attention to 3 Important Things

If you’re into the woo-woo (which you probably are if you’re reading this ;)), then you’ve heard this line before—You Create Your Own Reality.

But if you don’t know how to create the reality you want, then being responsible for creating your reality can feel like a burden instead of super empowering.

But not anymore, because it’s time to feel POWERFUL!

How do you create the reality you want to experience?

How to Use Mindfulness in a Brand New Way to Create Your Experience

I like to think of mindfulness as choice. Each moment, each here-and-now is full of possibilities and potentials. When you become fully present in the now, you can sense the fullness of these possible creations.

Between you and me, mindfulness is a fancy name for focus, and focus is choosing what you give your attention to. Choosing is creating because when you give your attention to something, it grows in your awareness and experience.

Why It’s Impossible to Get Off Your Spiritual Path

One of the questions I get the most from my clients is—Am I on my spiritual path? So, right off, let me say, YES! You cannot get off your path. You cannot stray from your path. You cannot make a wrong turn or even stall out because your path is constantly creating itself as you make your next move. It moves and morphs and changes as you do.

I’ve got good news for you.

Are you ready to stop wrestling with life? Find out what happens when life stops being a problem to solve.

I woke up early this morning from a dream hot, sweaty, and tangled in my bedsheets.

I laid there in the dark getting my bearings and realized I’d been wrestling with the sheets in my sleep, and it dawned on me that too often, I wrestle with the bedsheets in my waking life too.

I wrestle with problems and decisions, worrisome thoughts and pesky annoyances, to-do-lists and responsibilities, and most of all…drum roll please—what do I want to do next.

Why You Feeling Good is Necessary for Harmony with Spirit

Do you know how important you are to Spirit? You’re so valuable to Spirit that without you, Spirit would be incomplete. And, without the loving gaze of Spirit upon you at all times, you would cease to exist. Because of the intensity of this dynamic, your relationship with Spirit is the most important relationship in your life. It’s that simple.

Spirit is in this moment is loving you, and anytime you are not feeling your best,

Integrity. Authenticity. Transparency. Truth.

Is all the spiritual talk about living in your truth, following your integrity, being authentic, and transparent confusing you? Does it feel like another thing that you have to get right when in reality, you’re just trying to get through the day without losing your shit?

I get it. This well-meaning advice can make your head spin. Even worse, it can make you give up on your spiritual journey because it feels too hard to figure out the “right way.”

It’s time to give yourself a break because Spirit is not demanding some lofty standard from you or judging how you’re doing.
